Wirex seems to have it all : Millions of customers, regulated by the FCA, tons of Youtube vids explaining everything, even a discord and a help hub - don't be blinded ! After being blocked from my coins the second month now with no end in sight, my urgend advice : DO NOT fall for this !
Duo passive earnings - NOT the holy grail of trading ...
The 'Duo system' is one main way to earn with Wirex aside from bounding ('X-Accounts'). Wirex promises unbelievable high returns, almost everytime over 100% APR and throws words like 'up only' and 'earn with ease'. I got suspicous and surfed around for some more info - well most was from Wirex flooding the net with their positive stuff about the system. Then, Reddid offered some good insight - because things turn out to be bloody simple, after all.
The system offers to split Your money in a pair of tokens, a wide range was offered with an investment time ranging from 24h to 7 days. Doing so, one condition is always needed in order to be in the plus : one coin has to compensate all the losses from the other coin. In my case, one coin stayed more or less stable and the other coin lost 50%. So I came out losing 25% of my money ... well Wirex congratulated me for a big profit - hundreds of Eur ! How on earth ...
X-Accounts
If You are willing to receive Your rewards in Wirex-coins (WXT), the payment is 0.5% higher. Well - the only problem I had : even with WXT worth over 100 Eur, the fees for changing it into other coins or Eur were ... not covered !
Blocked communication
After funding my account with my credit card for a while, Wirex blocked my account and asked details about the source and the way the money was going. Well this is somehow normal and happens often in the world of financial services ... so I did provide the information. Well - it took them 3 weeks (!) to answer. And the reaction was ... closure of my account ... with lots of money on it.
Now I found out that ... aside from the account, the discord was blocked, the help hub was blocked after writing 1 ('one') notice, even the email of the Wirex Review-Team was blocked - the ticket I did reply to has been closed. What else is this except scam, fraud and betray ?!? So if You wanne loose Your good money, come on and open an account !
Actually, Wirex faces at least one court case about "promised" refunds which since +6 months did not take place. Yes, they sent some emails promising "escalation" and "soon payment" but, You guess whut ... NOTHING happened and nothing will happen. Only with lawyers help, I do see a chance to get my coins back. Just type Wirex and lawyer and You will find at least two in Germany and one in Italy who know this company.
The BaFin (German Financial Supervision Department) started an investigation for obvious violations ... and this is just the start ...
