The MCO (Monaco Coin) is one of two crypto currencies issued by the Exchange Crypto.com, which was issued in 2017. It is an ERC-20 based utility token for the Crypto.com ecosystem.
The name Monaco refers to the original name of the company from Monaco to crypto.com
By stacking certain quantities of these tokens, different classes of VISA cards can be purchased. The differences lie in the percentages from Payback to discounted online services such as Spotify or Netflix.
This concept is similar to that of the pioneer Binance with the Binance Coin.
Staking with the benefits to the ecosystem only became really possible after the announcement of the CRO token.
Since the added value for staking the MCO Coins is financed through marketing in order to gain market share against the top dog Binance, the value trend for the longer term is uncertain.
Currently, the positive aspects of the coin with the VISA card ecosystem outweigh the negative ones.
